Location was not that good. However there was no internet nor proper daily cleaning of the room or changing of the towels/amenities etc,, The first room was not worth staying then I requested them to change the room........

Great staff, room cleaners were brilliant. Reception allowed me a late check out (2pm is latest, they allowed upto 3pm).I would definitely recommend this hotel. For all those reviewer's that said this hotel was located at a steep location had me worried but the steep is gradual that you barely feel it until the last 50 or so steps..It took me and my wife about 9 minutes and 30 seconds (yes we timed it) to reach Masjid al Haram from the hotel. So not bad.There is no shuttle service. There is a restaurant but we didn't eat from there. There are a lot of shops between hotel and Haram that sell everything you could need during your stay. Cheap takeaways too, for example a curry with 2 naans and rice with half a chicken cost me 21 Riyals - so just over £4.If you expect 5 star like hotel, then this is not for you. This is more catered towards those who just want somewhere comfortable to sleep, AC, and close to Haram. Two receptionists that i came across had a good level of understanding in English which helped me as I don't speak Arabic.One thing that worried me a little was that we arrived for Check In at about 4 am but there was no one at reception, i saw one of the bell boys and asked him and he found me the receptionist who was taking a nap (which was understandable as it was early hours and night shifts are hard work).All in all, a great hotel and a very good price.

Walking distance from haram (may not be appropriate for old). Clean beds and sheets. Bathroom was old but was fully working and clean. Window Ac was old but was working. I could not find any other facilities even a restaurant/coffee shop. It was super reasonable from price perspective.
